Japan Travel / Mt. Fuji / Kawaguchi

🗻 FUJI-SAAAN 🗻

Haii hisashiburi (⌯˃̶᷄ ﹏ ˂̶᷄⌯)゚

wakkateru, wakkateru yo  m(._.)m

I hope you all feel well
It's time to show you our time in Kawaguchi.
Kawaguchi-ko is one of five lakes surrounding Mount Fuji. We had a cottage in  Ururun Kawaguchiko and it was soo nice omg we had a blast. I always wanted a nice view of mount Fuji with the lake in between it was just perfect. Also to see a bit of the country side of Japan compared to all the big cities we visited before. It was so lovely an quiet I definitely want to go again. From Osaka we took a Shikansen to Shinagawa and there we took a bus to Kawaguchi which took about 2 hours and cost about 20$.
Another reason why I wanted to visit Kawaguchi was because I wanted to visit Aokigahara forest. But for this trip I think i'm gonna make a seperate post. If I do, I don't now yet since it's quite a touchy and sensitive subject and I don't want to promote it...
But yeah anyway lets look at some pictures .+:。(ノ・ω・)ノ゙

Japan Ani Manga Night '16

o(^▽^)o Konnichiwa minna san o(^▽^)o

Finally it's the time of the year where the Japan Ani Manga Night takes place!!! 《《o(≧◇≦)o》》   o(^∀^*)o   o(*>ω<*)o

Jap Ani Manga Night short JAN is a convention is Switzerland for all who love anime, manga, games and the japanese culture. For two years now it takes place in Davos, a tiny town in the mountains where "normal" swiss people usually go for skiing and relaxing. This place now turns every year in May into a spot for thousends of crazy and super cool guys, who are travelling from all around the country to participate in this awesome event! (ω・。)

For me it's the sixth time xD  So you can imagine I really love this convention <3 There are severall concerts, shows like sumo, contests for cosplay etc, a huge gaming dungeon, workshops for sewing and cooking, a big place for buying merchandise, a host club and an otaku room and many many more. For more information visit the official JAN Website

(⌐■_■)♪ so let's go! (⌐■_■)♪

Japan Travel / Osaka / Kaiyukan Aquarium

>)##)   >)))  <º))))><   <)))><<
 Just keep swimming swimming swimming
  >))))   <)))   <)))><<    >°))

From Hiroshima we took an early Shikansen to Osaka, it took less than 3 hours. By the way we never reserved our seats for the Shikansen. I was told that it's better to reserve seats in advance to be sure you have a seat. But we were too lazy for it xD Fortunately it was absolutely no problem since there are always 3 to 5 wagons free for non reserved seats and we always had enough space :)
First we checked in in the Hostel Toyo, were we stayed two nights. It was really homey and the stuff was friendly too. Cheap, clean and good situated.

http://r-ec.bstatic.com/images/hotel/840x460/531/53111661.jpg

Later we went to the Kaiyukan Aquarium which is near the sea. I'm not the biggest fan of zoos and stuff like that were animals are locked, but we don't have aquariums like that in Switzerland so we thought why not give it a look. In the end the trip was very funny.

Next to the entrance xD . ><(((.______)

Japan Travel / Hiroshima / Genbaku + Castle + Myajima

\\\└(‘ω’)┘////

ULTIMATE TRAVELLING POWER!!!

\\\٩(๑•̀ㅂ•́)و////

Second day in Hiroshima we wanted to visit the A-dome, the peace memorial  in remembrance of the atomic bomb hitting Hiroshima. This dome was the only structure left standing in this area after the the bomb hit in 1945, which is quite impressing! Then we went to the Hiroshima Castle which was the castle for several feudal lords in this time. At last we went to Myajima Island. I really really wanted to go on Myajima, since I heard it's one of the most beautiful places in Japan o()o

Japan Travel / Hiroshima / Okunoshima "Rabbit Island"

I said a hop hop, hoppie to the hoppie, the hop, hop a hop, and you don't stop, a rock it to the hop hop boogie!!!

、., ⌒ 、., ⌒ 、., ⌒ 、., ⌒ 、., ⌒ 、., ⌒/(・ x ・)\

 ̄(=⌒x⌒=) ̄ Hope you guys had a wonderful easter ̄(=⌒x⌒=) ̄

Next Destination: a tiny island near Hiroshima called Okonoshima, a bunny island. It's famous not for it's shape but for the many cute bunnies on it! The reason for this is not quite clear. Back in WW II the island was used to produce poisoenous gas, so the rabbits got brought to the island to get tested for the efficiency of the gas and after the war the rabits were freed. Second possibility is that some rabbits got released on the island by some elementary school kids and reproduced quickly. Probably it's a combination of the two possibilities. Neveretheless I think it's nowadays such a relaxing and quiet place to visit. It makes it even more peaceful when you experience how lively this island is despite its dark past.

We took an early Shikansen from Kyoto to Mihara which took less than 2 hours. And then we changed to a smaller train to Tadanoumi station. From there on we took the ferry to the island. The ferry is not covered by Japan Rail Pass but it's quite cheap. About ¥600 (5 USD) for return. The ferry shedule and the one for the Kuro Line to Tadanoumi you can find if you go on reading further xD

Japan Travel / Kyoto / Arashiyama + Okochi Sanso + Kiyomizu Dera

ε=ε=ε=ε=ε=ε=┏(*´∀`)┛ Running all over Kyoto

From nature to temple

 ∩(︶▽︶)∩

On the second day in Kyoto we had so much to see xD First we wanted to go to Arashiyama, a famous bamboo forest and then later to Kiyomizu Dera Temple. On our way to Arashiyama we saw a beautiful garden called Okochi Sanso and decided to give it a closer look, then we walked trough the bamboo forest and later in the evening we went to the temple.

Japan Travel / Kyoto / Fushimi Inari

   Follow us through 10'000 toriis

  《《o(≧◇≦)o》》

The first destination on our Japan travelling session as you might have already guessed was Kyoto!!
wuhuu yeah Kyoto is a really must see in Japan, since it was the capitol once and is still one of the most cultural and historical cities in whole Japan.

For all our long distances in Japan by train we used the Japan Rail Pass
Maybe you heard of Shikansen which is one of the fastest trains in the world.
With this we travelled around and normally a ticket it quite expensive.
But for foreigners this special pass is available.
You have to order and buy it in advance (max 3 months prior your travel) when you're still at home at www.jrpass.com
Then you'll get a ticket which you have to activate as soon as you are in Japan at one of many JR stations. With this you can then travel limitless for the specific time you payed for.
If you plan to see much it's definetely cheaper then just buying every ticket seperately.

One of the most famous places in Kyoto is the Fushimi Inari Shrine.
This Shintō shrine is dedicated to the Inari god, which appears as a fox and is the kami 神, god of fertility and rice. Moreover it's the most visited shinto shrine in all over Japan.
The shrine is located on the base of the mountain also called Inari and contains a path up the mountain which is approx. 4 km long and takes 2 hours to walk.
Aaand of course we hiked the way up and down all under these wonderful red gates. All together there are over 10'000 and each of them is donated by a japanese business!

Come with me in a different world

Danganronpa Cosplay Shooting

“Let's give it all we've got!                          IT'S... PUNISHMENT TIME!”

-Monokuma ←~(o `▽´ )oΨ

Some time ago one of Angelas fellow workers Philipp who is also a great hobby photographer took a few pictures in our Danganronpa cosplay of us. He organized a little studio and it was quite fun. I really like the outcome! Angela played Junko Enoshima and I did Celestia Ludenberg. Unfortunately my Celestia wig isn´t the best, I have to do one at my own -.-´´
Visit Philipps fb fan page
I think he really did a great job here!
And god look at Angela! On the one hand she can transform into the sexiest most masculine handsome men and on the other hand she can also cosplay the sexiest feminine girly women!
It´s incredible give her fb fan page a like

“Friendship is measured by how long you can stand the silence
when you're alone with someone else.” - Monokuma

“Yoohoo! My name's Junko Enoshima!                        “Delighted to meet you.
Great to meet you!”                              My name is Celestia Ludenberg.”

Tokyo Ghoul Cosplay Music Video

バァー urameshiya “( ´థ,_‥`)”

As I mentioned in the previous post I´m going to show you our cosplay music video.
Almost all scenes were filmed in Beelitz sanatorium and only a few in Hohenlychen.
More information about these two places are in the previous posts.
Since the band Rammstein also filmed one of their music videos with the song "Mein Herz brennt" in Beelitz we wanted to do the same. Especially Angela is a huge fan of them. The song and the video inspired her quite much and so she wrote the storyboard for our video.
Attention, our video isn´t a parody or something like that, it´s just our interpretation of the song paired with the story of Tokyo Ghoul. And we had lots of fun playing our ideas out.

Angela who not only played Kaneki and Touka from Tokyo Ghoul also edited the video.
She´s really talented! Check out her youtube channel and her fb fan page
Tamara filmed all the scenes, she´s got the right touch for filming and taking pictures!
And yeah I only played Rize xD

Have fun watching it! There are also english subtitles available.
Please enjoy it in hd and in a bigger screen than that square xD
And don´t miss the outtakes at the end xD
The original Rammstein music video you can find further below ;)

Arigatou ne for watching ^____^
Next post will be about our Danganronpa cosplay shooting :)

Third and last part of our Berlin shooting trip :O
This time we went to the sanatorium called Beelitz, it´s like a own tiny town with several buildings. We spent about five hours in the men´s wing and had to pay 50 € for entry.
More information here
Beelitz is about one hour away from Berlin with public transport.

All pictures are taken by the very talented Tamara as MissBenu Photography
with her Nikon D5100 35mm
Cool Angela as Kaneki Ken from Tokyo Ghoul as JuubeiChan
And me as Rize Kamishiro also from Tokyo Ghoul

Like the sanatorium in Hohenlychen, Beelitz is also a very haunting place!
We also filmed some scenes here for a cosplay video, this I will show you in the next post :D
Maybe you know the band Rammstein, they shot one of their musicvideos in Beelitz so we thought why not do the same with the same song :P
But first some pictures

Hohenlychen Sanatorium / Berlin / Horror Shooting

Boohoo(´≝◞⊖◟≝`)

Second day of our Berlin shooting tour was in the sanatorium for kids in Hohenlychen :D
It was so awesome the atmosphere and feeling in this lost broken but yet so beautiful place!
I love supernatural things and I´m also superstitious haha so this place was perfect for me.
The long empty hallways kind of reminded me of the horror movie Grave Encounters, if you don´t know it you have to check it out! Hohenlychen is about 2 hours by train away from Berlin. We spent 5 hours there and had to pay 40 € for entry. More information here
As usual
All pictures are taken and edited by the talented Tamara as MissBenu Photography
with her Nikon D5100 35mm
Beautiful Angela as Touka Kirishima from Tokyo Ghoul as JuubeiChan
And me as some kind of Alice Madness Returns ;)

Have fun marvelling at this wonderful place and getting lost in a different world ^__^

Fountain of Fairy Tales / Berlin / Shingeki no Kyojin Cosplay

Hello minna (^=^)

I hope you all spent a wonderfull christmas time and had a happy new year!
I spent christmas in Borneo, Malaysia with my family and new years eve in Bali, Indonesia. Altogether I was away for three weeks and my god it was such a great time I can´t find proper words for it. I had quite a hard time to adjust myself to my usual life back here in Switzerland hahah The weather, people and food were great like in a complete different world.
But I think now after few weeks had passed by I settled myself quite well.
Maybe I´ll post some pics of Indoesia and Malaysia later but first of all some pictures of Berlin from last year.

Last October Tamara, Angela and I went to Berlin in Germany for some shootings. The first of them took place at the Fountain of Fairy Tales. There Angela cosplayed Eren Jaeger and I did Mikasa Ackerman form Attack on Titan.

All pictures are taken and edited by Tamara as MissBenu Photography

Review: Princess Pinky Radiance Honey Brown Lenses

 Oy omae!

I ordered these new brown lenses some time ago. I always wanted brown lenses which brighten up my dark brown eyes. I think they do it really well, the light circle in the center gives them that kind of extra look. It´s like they shine xD
They are also very comfortable and they don´t shift.
And they are really visible even on my dark brown eyes.
I ordered them from www.pinkyparadise.com

Tokyo Ghoul Cosplay

Konnichiwa *___*

A while ago I was at a little cosplay meeting in Germany near the border to Switzerland. It took place next to the Lake Constance. It was quite cold but still funny xD Angela cosplayed Kaneki with white hair and I cosplayed Touka. Both from Tokyo Ghoul.
If you don´t know Tokyo Ghoul, I would recommend you to read or watch it.
I like the Manga more, especially in the beginning but the Anime is still very good.
We met a german photographer called Eiri Kun who took a few pictures of us and even edited them! She was really skilled! Click here for her Facebook fan page.

Me as Touka.
Eiri Kun edited the claws. I think it looks amazing!

Review: Super Pinky Bright Red Lenses

 Helloow *__*

A little ago I ordered these bright red circle lenses from www.honeycolor.com
I really like them, they´re quite comfortable and also very bright.
Sometimes they shift a bit but it´s not severe xD
I have naturally dark brown eyes so they cover well.
Hope the pictures help you to figure out how they look in real.
